Silver Jubilee Bridge, Runcorn Spandrel.

Scaffolding was needed to access all steelwork and concrete for repairs and maintenance, to the Runcorn Spandrel.

The erection and dismantle of the scaffolding involved a team of qualified operatives working 10 hour shifts, 7 days a week. This was to ensure the tight project timescales could be achieved.

Scaffold erection involved complete structural design, temporary lane closures, safety rescue boat and comprised of over 125,000 feet of scaffold tube; 23,000 fittings; 7000 boards and 170 tube beams.
