Scaffolding was required to access the underside of a bridged roadway providing access to GMP Rochdale. This scaffolding was designed to give access to all support steelwork below the road for refurbishment.

The challenge was to ensure that the bridge could remain in use whilst the refurbishment was taking place over a period of 4 weeks. The scaffold design needed to cantilever out over the river to allow access to the bridge sides overhanging the adjacent river.
